I serve on the board of directors of a local ministry (Life Saver Ministries, My Father's House). The home offers housing, training, counseling and other support services to young women and teens who are in a crisis pregnancy or young parents. The home has been operating for over ten years, but is finding this year a tough year for raising finances. In addition to the home, we are also in the fund raising/grant stage to develop 5 transitional apartments that will allow the girls to live on their own after leaving My Father House.
